Indonesia is one of the developing countries while asthma cases still tend to be high The number of asthma cases in West Java in 2018 reached 6,953 cases, in 2019 as many as 9,680, and in 2020 again increased by 10,711 cases while cases found in the central cimahi area amounted to 210 people, bronchial asthma is a disorder in the form of chronic inflation of the respiratory tract that causes broncus hyveractivity to various stimuli characterized by symptoms Recurrent episodic wheezing, coughing, shortness of breath, and heaviness in the chest. The purpose of this scientific paper is to apply Slow Deep Breathing therapy to the breathing patterns of clients with Bronchial Asthma.Slow deep breathing therapy is a state of activity carried out consciously to regulate the frequency and depth of breathing slowly to cause a relaxing effect in the body of the subject Case study conducted on adult clients, the results of the first day case study obtained before slow deep breathing therapy in bronchial asthma patients obtained client breathing frequency data 25x / minute after slow deep breathing therapy for 10-15 minutes obtained results The client's breathing frequency improved to 21x/minute the second day obtained client breathing frequency data 21x/minute after slow deep breathing therapy Again obtained client breathing frequency data 20x/minute so that it can be concluded that the results of slow deep breathing therapy are effective for breathing patterns in bronchial asthma clients.suggestions are expected that this slow deep breathing therapy can be used as a reference for puskesmas nurses as an effective therapy, especially for clients with bronchial asthma.
